DIRTY WHITE BOY

Dirty White Boy is a new label aiming to spotlight some of the after-hours activity going on in the New York City underground. God knows the place needs some filthing up right now and this maiden voyage – courtesy of DJ-producer Jesse Roarabaugh – is just the job. A fast, dark and squelchy electro-crawl which sounds like its scrotum’s being dragged over broken glass in a dark alley off Avenue D. Unsurprisingly, there’s a Touchin’ Bass connection here as Egg Foo Young comes in for a riveting rework. It starts like an electro variation on the ‘Honly Tonky Women’ intro before Charlie Mingus pops in for a spiked nightcap. The sinister throb proceeds to skeletal bass and drum manouvres, eventually producing an effect that can only be described as sinister night-club electro! Touchin’ Bass-Satomile afficionados will shit electrodes.
