Here’s more of that French screechy, funked-up electro/hip-hop sound that you need breakdance lessons to bop to. Putting Jamelia thru the meat-mincer, Mr Birdy delivers a seriously out-there re-rub. The ex-chart topper has stuck to his wonky lo-fi grooves and is now surfing the Ed Banger wave where clicky-fonk rocks (Justice, Para One, Vicarious Bliss etc). Lots of nutty twists and scratched vocals turn this (fairly safe) r’n’b choon into a dangerous proposition.
