Well the last piece of the puzzle is complete. The part-time Jedi/ DJ has now become a fully fledged producer with a label. We all know this guy can cut the mustard, many of us have gurned in a field to his twisted show stopping deck antics; and now he’s dropping some show stopping tracks to get those upside down smiles out again. First track is ‘Robophobia’- a sparse, jacking, electro-tech/break number that is exciting, interesting and pretty rocking. There are great acid lines, fat, dirty, bass warps and of course, shit-loads of wicked sci-fi samples. Track two ‘Skanksuary’ is pretty much that, with old skool bass tones, ska leanings and some chunky, old skool jungle breakbeats to expand on the retro theme. The vinyl will include ‘EyeAMComputer’ and sounds/samples from the EP. Ruffneck and essential.
