By the sound of it dj/producer Kaos has been listening a lot to LCD Soundsystem’s ‘Yeah’ whilst writing/producing this record as both tracks sound rather similar. However the Berliner orchestrates a definitely well achieved fusion of raw groovy funk, loud out-of-control synths, shouty backing vocals and a tongue in cheek vocoder lead from Captain Comatose. Believe it or not ‘Boogie Boy’ feels actually more rock’n’roll than The Libertines…
