KING BISCUIT TIME
C I AM 15
NO STYLE

It’s been a while, in fact far too long, since The Beta Band’s Steve Mason released the brilliant ‘Walk The Earth’ under the name King Biscuit Time on No Style. Well now, after the very sad demise of The Beta Band, I’m extremely happy to see that Steve Mason is gonna go for it with King Biscuit Time. The first offering from this new beginning is ‘C I Am 15’, opening with a funky shuffling rhythm, Steve Mason‚s distinctive vocal floats in, ‘We got plans in common, you and I, I got friends in places that I can‚t spell, and don‚t you worry, about the cost of it all, we take from the daughters, and keep it all’, on a very catchy melody, leading to political rhymes in a dancehall style from Topcat. ‘C I Am 15’ is a protest song that’s cool. To the man who likes to dunk, we say welcome back.
