A veritable classic gets reactivated here as leisure lounge crooner supreme Louie tackles Christopher Just’s Gigolo biggie from 1997 as a trailer to his upcoming ‘Iguana’ album. The original and Extended Dub come from rising UK producer Melnyk of ‘Silence’ album renown, who injects a distinct 80s electro-pop flavour with lashings of synth but building on the hilarious lyrics on the vocal version. Christopher Just’s own version treats his baby to a ravey makeover while Marcas Lancaster plumps for old school house and that mellow saxophone. Always up for some dance music which doesn’t take itself too seriously.
