Since their eponymous first album a few years back, French band M83 has matured like good wine and outgrown its original electro-indie influences (My Bloody Valentine/New Order). Taken off their forthcoming third album ‘Before The Dawn Heals Us’, ‘Don’t Save Us From The Flames’ gets respectfully reworked by Kompakt’s Superpitcher (129 BPM) and Boom Bip (139) but unfortunately the results aren’t quite the dancefloor tools you could have hoped for. As bonus the band provides an unreleased ballad titled ‘Until The Night Is Over’.
