The singular sound of Robi Insinna/Headman is often referred to as punk-funk (the live-ish bass & drums) but it also includes a mixed bag of influences ranging from italo-disco to electro-pop and madchester. After a handful of prestigious remixes (Franz, Radio 4, Annie, Seelenluft) and one of this year’s strongest comp (‘Dance Modern’) the atypic swiss is soon to release his debut album. Not quite fullon but definitely worth of attention this four track sampler includes a couple of remixes from Felix Rennefeld (Funkhaus) and Reverso 68.
