The Elektroluv compilation series is an institution that’s always worth checking. Year after the year the doctor (who’s got a popular show on Belgian radio) moves forward with the evolving electro sound. Now a label, the output is as eclectic as ever. Michocan crafts little melodic epics, rich and detailed, that somehow don’t quite fit anywhere apart from Emperor Machine territory (disco, rock, italo, soundtracky) and that’s probably for the better.
