This has been bison’s scrotum huge since first appearing in 2004, causing chaos everywhere and littering comps enough to cement its immortality. Not content with that, Guy has now steamed back in his Reshuffle guise with a 13-minute behemoth which, to these innocent ears, tops the original. It’s patently obvious on my pathetic sound system that this is a weapon of mass destruction destined to cause carnage this summer with that high-tension bassline and swirling sonic whirlpool but, apparently, on a big system it wreaks a brand of mayhem rarely seen, which is why Laurent Garnier and Sasha are spontaneously ejaculating in its presence. If that wasn’t enough, Danton Eeprom takes a different approach with a bassy, shimmering loper for early hours melon-surfboard interaction. It’s great when records like this turn up.
