Skimmed from his forthcoming mix CD “I am X”, “Kick Out The Jams” is Andre Tegeler’s Moguai guise in full electro-clash heaven, bringing out the familiar riffs, beats and neon in hyper style. The original’s undeniably fun and infectious, but the action lies with some well-honed remixes, Wally Lopez crafting a pulsing tech-house groove that co-opts the minimal glitch into a coolly building groove (watch for some killer drops), whilst Style Of Eye reshape it into a muscular techno workout with great vox and a sly, bleepy atmosphere. Most surprising is Manuel Tur’s 6am styled remix, like Basic Channel relocated to Ibiza. Blinding package – you’re really spoilt for choice which tracks to play.
