After several months hiatus Beautycase returns in fine style with one of its strongest releases yet. Always on the lookout for fresh, colourful electro, the Berlin label has bagged ‘Race Is Set’ the debut of Copenhagen duo Rio (pals of Tom Boy), a kinda ‘italo-disco on steroïds’ choon that’s finding favours with many all over Europe in its instrumental version. Napsugar on remix duties sticks to Emil Uldal’s vocals and delivers a challenging re-rub that takes a more schizophrenic route.
