Denmark’s Anders Trentermoller has delivered remix of the year (so far). In it’s original form Sharon Phillips’ “Want2/Need2” comes over like Roxanne Shante meets The Streets, which is very good, but Trentermoller has come up with a killer bassline fueled, hip hop tinged, hottest slice of electro funk you’re ever likely to hear, plus he’s thrown in some fantastic old skool samples that bounce off the bleeps & fly in & out of the mix. This really is innovative stuff, the future looks bright.
