Alan James & Michael Kirkman are Subway, & they’re getting us prepared for their debut album “Empty Head”, by giving us a sneak preview with the release of the title track. Opening with distant & bleak piano, “Empty Head” soon has you in it’s soul searching grasp, leading to a steady paced Moroder-ish riff. It’s definitely got a dark 70’s film feel about it. After last summer’s “Testing” & now this, Subway’s album looks like it’s shaping up to be one of the Long Players of 2005.
