After a two-year tour of the world’s techy clubs, it seems Michel Amato has fallen for minimal. ‘It Was Tomorrow’, the 12”’s A side, with its typical Jean-Michel Jarre riff is catchy but feels excessively linear. On the flip ‘Planet 89’ he goes back to what he does best: dark, gothy-ish techno.
