I was very excited putting this on surely the Loose Cannons covering Janet Jackson has to be hot, and it sort of is. Perhaps not the obvious choice of song to cover, but then again some of the best records are the ones you can’t see coming. This just sorta pulls it off not an easy feat as the new production still sounds very much stuck in the ’80s, as do the remixes by Flytip Johnson, Stupid Fresh and Space Cowboy. Maybe it’s the stabs from the Janet Jackson original that drag it down, but something’s not quite sitting right here.
