BABYLON FIRE EP
JAH LOVE

A dependable label for selectors who like their dub infused with a bit of 4/4 activity for serious early hours head nodding. This release is a slight detour, though, as David Coleman’s “Fire” showcases a full vocal from Rootz (of Thievery Corporation fame, amongst others). It’s sleek and electronic in feel, steel-like beats and dubbed out horns doing battle with Rootz political lyrics over a dramatic string backdrop. Early hours material this most definitely ain’t. For those seeking more familiar territory, there are two sturdy dubs from Dub Theory and Halo & DJ Duane.
