1.’PLANET ROCK’ AFRIKA BAMBAATAA AND THE SOUL SONIC FORCE
THIS IS WHERE THE WHOLE ELECTRO/HIP HOP THING STARTED FOR ME THIS TRACK WAS SO DIFFERENT TO WHAT WAS GOIN ON MUSICALLY IN MY MANOR, REGGAE SOUNDSYSTEMS WERE THE RAGE THEN....BUT A SOUND CALL CAZANOVA USED TO TEST OUT THERE SPEAKERS TO THIS TRACK B4 PLAYIN OUT, WE CALLED IT A NEW WAVE TRACKS AT THE TIME ...IT CHANGED THE STATE OF PLAY 4 ME AND LED ME TO THE WHOLE 2 DECK MIXIN AND SCRATCHING THING...

2.’NATURE BOY’ NAT KING COLE
MY GRANDFATHER DIED IN 2000 AND WAS THE ONLY PERSON I HAVE TRULY LOOKED UP 2 AND WHENEVER I HEAR THE VOICE OF NAT KING COLE IT ALWAYS MAKE ME THINK OF MY GRANDFATHER WHO I TRULY MISS IN MY LIFE.

3. ‘WARRIORS CHARGE’ ASWAAD
THIS IS A FAT CLASSIC DUB TRACK THAT HAS SO MUCH ENERGY ITS THE CLASSIC SOUND BOY TRACK FROM MY EARLY SOUND DAYS.

4. ‘PUBLIC ENEMY NO1’ PUBLIC ENEMY
THIS WAS SUCH A STAND OUT TRK AT THE TIME OF ITS RELEASE....1987(I THINK) IT WAS RAW AND POWERFUL AND TOTALLY AWSOME AND BLEW ME AWAY, PUBLIC ENEMY AT THEIR FINEST!

5. ‘JESUS WALKS’ KANYE WEST
THIS TUNE IS SO POWERFUL AND IS A NICE BREAK FROM THE USUAL BITCHES AND MONEY BULLSHIT THAT COMMERCIAL HIP HOP SEEMS TO CHURN OUT AND I THINK THIS TUNE SHOWS HOW HIP HOP CAN BE POSITIVE TO THE YOUTH AND THAT IS SO IMPORTANT IN THIS DAY OF DISILLUSIONED YOUTH CULTURE TODAY.

6.’HEAVEN AND HELL ON EARTH’
SHUT UP AND DANCE S.U.A.D ARE MY BEST FRIENDS AND THEY WAY THEY WRITE LYRICS ALWAYS SEEM TO TOUCH ME, MAYBE ITS BECAUSE WE ARE ALL FROM THE SAME MANOR AND SPEAK THE SAME LANGUAGE THAT I ENJOY THEIR LYRICS SO MUCH..ME AND THEM HAVE SEEN SO MUCH IN LIFE AND THEY ALWAYS SEEM TO CAPTURE THIS IN THEIR MUSIC.

7. ‘TOO MUCH TOO YOUNG’ THE SPECIALS
WHEN I WAS A 11 ME AND EVERY ONE IN MY CLASS AT BROOKE HOUSE SCHOOL WERE INTO THE WHOLE 2TONE SKA TRIP.....I HAVE GREAT MEMORIES THIS TIME AND WHENEVER I HEAR 2 TONE TRACKS FROM THIS ERA IT BRINGS A SMILE TO MY FACE.

8.’GRANDMASTER FLASH ON THE WHEELS OF STEEL.’ GRAND MASTER FLASH
THE ORIGINAL MEGAMIX FROM THE ORIGINAL SCRATCH DJ.......IT STILL SOUNDS GREAT TODAY, A CLASSIC!

9. ‘DEREK WENT MAD’ SHUT UP AND DANCE
A CLOSE FRIEND OF OURS WENT CRAZY AND THIS IS SUAD’S TRIBUTE TO HIM..IN THE EARLY NINETIES WE HAD A LOT OF FRIENDS THAT WENT MAD, DIED OR ENDED UP IN PRISON...THE MUSIC SCENE WAS WHAT STOPPED ME FROM ENDIN UP DOWN THAT ROAD.

10. ‘SCREECH ACROSS THE BORDER’ COURTNEY MELODY
I LOVE THIS TRACK , THE WHOLE SOUND KILLA VIBE IS WHAT I LOVE......YOU CAN’T BEAT A GOOD OLD SOUNDCLASH..IT’S AMAZING!
