Now I love me a bit of Simon Baker – and this catches him in the act moonlighting from his own B.K.R Project label and torching techno with a genre bending flamethrower. ‘Fandango’ turns up the heat with a sine wavy, crackling energy flash that loops and coils with tazer tension. ‘Bazaar’ is a hard partying piece of acid techno that plays with your perception using bursts of reverb, echo, distance and proximity in stark and simultaneous contrast. ‘Artic’ falls like an unexpected sheet of snow off a heated roof – at once surprising and refreshing. Reset Robot remixes ‘Fandango’ into a throbbing beast of beauty. It turns up, tunes in and turns it into a locked groove of main room dancefloor proportions. Battle weapon.
