The highly acclaimed Bootek series delivers once again, the mystery producers behind these productions may have given us a few clues as to their origin, ‘BomBARRATT’ is the one to drop peak time, sounding like a freight-train stuck in top gear and screaming across the tracks and having Afrika Bambatta at the wheel courtesy of his vocal from ‘get up and dance’. Halfway across the vinyl you enter the Bermuda triangle, as the full force drops to a latin carnival break of the highest funky degree, but don’t let your guard down, no sooner have you picked up your maracas when the hard techno train flattens you like a scene from Final Destination.
