Jel Ford, Oscar Charlie and Stefano Murano turn in a second bombastic volume
– this time with Radio Ones Fergie on board. Devious rides a metallic fly-swatter of a turbo-groove, helped along by a smart insert of scratching.
The riff comes over like a post-wank satisfied duck. If anything it shoots its load too soon – building up to major half-time climax before settling into cruise mode. The old school riff-drop recalls classic Orbital – as does Satisfied, which is harder and darker aboard a metallic rattle of trampolinic groove power. Then comes the mad, sweeping fuzz-riff. Designed for mayhem.
