Harlem Dance Club is the moniker of Dutch stalwart Ruud Rujiter, who has had releases on labels like Tropical Disco, Discoballs or Tall House Digital before and is a man on the rise when it comes to peaky Disco cuts. One of them, entitled ‘You Gotta Feel It’ is next on Hot Gorilla, the label run by Andy Buchan and Mark Pickup. The Original is a midtempo groover that is powered by a very memorable female vocal, some nice drums and all the Disco elements a modern Nu Disco track needs. A certain Mannix goes to work on the remix, speeding up the tempo and beefing up the sounds to deliver a slap bass driven peaktime Disco version. The package is rounded off by ‘Move Your Body’, a track that is characterized by brilliant organ solos and a nice spoken word breakdown. All in all a nice Nu Disco EP that should do well.
