Good to hear that Baby J isn’t one to submit to the usual wishy-washy trends of ‘sleek & sexy’ R&B. ‘Holla’, with brass players beaming over a triple jump tempo, is chipper, cheerful and chirpy, and Skeef’s appeal is when her sweetness meets with her wisdom halfway, offering an all-in-one helping hand, sympathetic ear and drum up for support.
