The Beggars don’t appear to be going for the crossover vote with their usual ripped verses and guest goodness, but the plain clip-clop beat gambolling along like Taz’ ‘Only God Can Judge Me’ is oddly vacuous. The dubby ‘Million Skill March’ and boom-bap ‘Cryin’ Shame’, creepily toned while guarding their cards, are much more in tune with the mic controllers.
