Hip-hop sound clashing between a number of countries, with a secret ingredient of a freshly thrown kitchen sink. ‘The Ballad of Hack-Tao’ is a thickly cosmopolitan broth with an all-action aftertaste, melodically of unequal parts including digital bass, flipped out seaside organs, steel guitars and lyrical resilience/randomness from Maxx. Anti-war dodgem ‘Dover Dead’ reduces the basin chucking to a funky pinch.
