First outing for Roots Manuva’s new BK imprint; RR steadfastly rides rough dub waves, taking the cork out of a bassline of bona fide skank and stammer that can unblock listening gear at 20 paces. ‘Two Pieces’, a big bulging slab of abrasive hip-hop, gets Rick showing off his slick sound system slang; a great start for the Banana bunch.
