Robinsons poetic prowess has the music to match, co-produced by Rob MacDonald as a responsive crutch for his puzzle-hiding assertions. The riddles retain the fine line between creative rhymes that can trump the most out-there emcee and outright smug streams of consciousness, but with spoken word, rapped verses, a faltering tenor and Lucy Wilkins at his disposal, RR is for the majority in tune with ground hip-hop fused with rustic soul and light flourishes. Morse code bumper Kaos uses a Destinys Child rip, No No spools dub with fluff on the needle and Wan, Chu wails P-funk from the bunker.
