Those kind folks at Rap-A-Lot have let us off with three tracks from their next release from New Orleans collective UTP. Originally signed with Juvenile, Wacko & Skip step to Houston’s premier label for a full album release. So right down to the music, the first track we received was ‘Who’s Ya Daddy’ which injects some proper Motown type funk into the beat while UTP easily ride the song well. Also included here is ‘Mr. Nolia Clap’ which is Part 2 of their hit single ‘Nolia Clap’ which was originally released in 2005 on UTP/Rap-A-Lot, but it’s their collaboration with Lil Wayne that really perked my ears up here. ‘Do Whatcha Wanna’ is destined to be a massive club hit Stateside, with a bouncy feel and some killer bars. New Orleans has two rappers that are making noise! Don’t sleep on UTP! Big things.
