Another label which rarely fails to disappoint is Culprit who now have the welcome addition of Adeline to their already impressive roster. The title track sits somewhere between suggestive and sleazy with its ‘Show me what you got’ vocal refrain, although this being Culprit means that there’s always more to it than a simple sentiment. The frisky hi-hats add real sparkle to the production aided by brooding bass and synth lines supplying a hypnotic quality that doesn’t readily escape your attention. ‘Under The Moon’ follows with more introspective electronics coupled with an edgy shuffling funk that sits perfectly beneath the restrained vocals. Thugfucker and Greg Paulus provide a radically sublime remix that employs warm, undulating sounds complimented by a haunting Trumpet and expert instrumentation, proving once again that Dance can play way beyond basic functionality. The aptly titled ‘Unravel My Mind’ finishes.
