The Sucker DJ moonlights with a brace of releases for labels on either side of the Channel with varying results and musical styles. For the Paris-based Serial label Macklin enlists an unaccredited songstress who delivers a topline not unlike Andrea Brown on Goldtrix’s ‘It’s Love (Trippin’)’ a few years back. This also comes with an equally turbo-charged mix package that includes Tom Novy, Lifelike, Muttonheads and our own Jerry Bouthier under his Rosebud alias with Andrea Gorgerino. Meanwhile electro-breaks is the order of the day on ‘Inside Me’ – a track that first surfaced a year ago on Spot On and has since undergone cosmetic surgery courtesy of Seb Fontaine & Jay P, Goldie Lox, Wesley D and Macklin under his Gutterpunk alias.
