On paper this might have turned out to be a nightmare, however on vinyl it plays like the party classic has been transformed into Balearic bliss. The tempo is now low-slung, and even sexier for it, as gently plucked acoustic guitar sets the summer scene alongside a vocal which once again works a treat emanating from the highly talented B.J Smith. Next, ‘Prototype’ is augmented by a great horn section plus meandering synth lines for extra colour, as dreamy vocals prove their worth yet again. A breath of fresh air from your speakers.
