The mighty King Kong is set to celebrate its fifth anniversary with a compilation album. There will also be a pair of twelves featuring tracks not on the album. Nick K’s ‘Sassy’ ploughs a deep, minimal house furrow bumping into a steel badger’s dildo midway. There are also remixes from DJ FEX and El Carlitto, who brings in woodblocks and marimba for that extra voodoo dimension. El Carlitto & Maxim Lany join forces for ‘Blackhawk’ and ‘Expression’ which both show a sturdy grasp of chunky, tech-flavoured house droppings.
