The ambitiously titled Volume 4 may not fully live up to its expectations but certainly offers three fine slices of House Music. Opening with The New Project and a typically intense tech fest this will surprise you with its climatic and impressive build up of strings and dark chords to give it all a definite edge over the competition. Can’t Fake It then gets rather funky with an organ solo over crisp beats while the strongest track, Poem finishes off number four. It’s by far the deepest and most intense production on here which is only added to with its smoky late night vocals feeling moody over pulsating rhythms and hypnotic keys.
