DFTD release Chasing Kurt’s ‘From The Inside’ together with four must play remixes or rather four fail safe go-to’s for any self respecting deep / soulful house dj. The Original is a big, marshmallow cuddle for the lovesick, lovelorn and broken hearted. The Henrik Scwarz mix takes care of the underground with an ascending / descending trombone sounding synth hook that drives the track into your psyche like a gigantic medical staplegun. Add some heartstring-tugging violins and emotive ivory tickling, a raw, searing vocal and a bassline that just keeps on giving the longer the record plays and you have a club classic that will endure longer than most love affairs. It’s sick. Meanwhile it’s all about making disco beats move your feet and rocking the spot with uplifting pianos, cat’s miaow synth keys and major chord mentalism for the Lovebirds followers. Konstantin Sebold’s remix is a mysterious, spaced-out synth, tech house excursion. Then the Copyright remix hits the 4/4 kick hard then chooses a bright, pizzicato / plucked groove to drive their point home. These are secret weapons all that it hurts me to tell you about to be honest.
