I do like Congorock – they have a way with rhythm and arrangements that way surpasses the progressive / edm genre’s requirements. Add Guetta-graduates Daddy’s Groove and their understanding of all things turned to 5 bar full power and you have a recipe for a the sort of track that functions best when every window is blacked out. I like its kinetic dancefloor energy and get a rise and a wry smile out of the bottle hit, crystal chimes looped melody that provides the light at the end of the tunnel. If the thought of this makes you hot under the collar, then ‘Black Sun’ is full on, full festival, full phat and just for you.
