And before you can say – the cat’s meow – here comes Suara (and here comes your favourite Suara stalker) with another litter of lithe and beautiful cats I mean tracks. First out of the bag is Mark Knight’s hissing and throbbing remix of Coyu and Ramiro Lopez’s ‘Y.E.A.H’ – it’s a playful romp but watch out for the sharp claws and teeth. Dosem gets to grips with ‘Balls’ and creates a percussive hurricane that will rip through the techno / tech house underground like an unexpected hurricane through an overheating, corrugated aluminium and bamboo shantytown. And the purr-fect 10? Charles Ramirez and Baum’s ‘Fire Alarm’ remixed by the consistently entertaining Mendo and re-edited by Coyu is a chugging steamer that builds tension via the alarms, splashing syncopation, finger snaps, handclaps, sirens and weirded out vocals. It’s just my kind of dancefloor decimator. It’s an excellent purchase so a huge round of a-paws, I mean applause to all concerned.
