This is very exciting. Kym Mazelle‘s exhilarating vocal positively shines out across the whirring electric organ generating grooves that all at once remind you of House Music’s heyday, yet also place those inescapable feelings firmly in 2016 via Crookers sublime and hard-hitting production. It’s great to hear a song of this soulful calibre once again, and just wait until the deep bassline drops. By way of contrast the ‘More Than A Dub’ version drops the melody to engage with the grittier end of the dancefloor as the rough and tumble of grainy drums fuse alongside harsh vocal edits.
