Danzoo Shem – Dirty EP – (Depaart)

Danzoo Shem might be an unknown name to you right now, but if he keeps on putting quality house music out like he has here on the Madrid based imprint Depaart, then he will soon be a man that is very much at the forefront of our mind, when on the look out for productions that are soaked in groove and elegance aplenty. The first of two tracks, ‘Dirty’ starts us off with a skippy, snare drum beat that gracefully flows along until it’s joined by an unconventional male vocal that further adds to the serenity of the track. It’s simple but effective. When the second track starts up, it becomes apparent that that was just the warm up mood setter for the EP, as second track ‘Nein’ jumps straight out at us with a more progressive rhythm and interesting, jittery synths that tease the eardrums and bring the listener in to delve for more of a taste. It’s an instant body mover and you can’t help but be enticed by it’s groove. A definite dance floor hit. Overall, a great release by a man that likes to add a certain poise to his creations, and a promising future lies ahead.
