Its hard to remember if Mood II Swing have ever made a duff production as John and Lem always seem to get the combination of tough, funky and melodic just about right. ‘Passing Time’ continues the theme with passionate vocals from Tara J sitting expressively against the tastefully moody backdrop of juicy analogue basslines, deep strings and cool chords. The ‘Main Mix’ cannot really be faulted, as can’t the excellent ‘Dub’ or indeed the jazzy musicality of the ‘Live Mix’.
