Demuir – Past To Future EP – (I’m A House Gangster)

Toronto’s Demuir joins DJ Sneak’s I’m A House Gangster camp, marking their first release of the year! ‘Past To Present EP’ opens with the incessantly jackin’ ‘Whatchuwhoooooant?!’, hot with a twisted bassline and moody spoken word. Jazz fused licks bubble over a groove on ‘Drama Untied, that comes with a powerful vocal message that call’s upon all of us to recognise ourselves as one. Finishing off this great package from Demuir, ‘The Cheerleader’ is a funk fuelled gem with a soulful, popping bass hook, skippy beats and a cool vocal sample.
