I reviewed the original version of ‘Wolves’ here on these pages some Boka Shade’s rather spiffing tech house rewiring available to all. It’s a clave and sand-tray snare led exciter with synths that swirl and swell, an AK47 kick that sprays the dancefloor with its menacing repeated beats, the filtered Digitalism electric guitar riff and Youngblood Hawke’s chopped, filtered and transformed vocodered vocal that carries it to shore like the foam on the crest of a wave. Tantalising.
