Diynamic – Four To The Floor (Part 2)

It’s not for nothing that Diynamic are where they are right now. The Hamburg label might have arrived at just the right time where the house renaissance was concerned, but all things considered, they’ve learned to diversify with the times. Fitting of their latest way of working is the second outing from their Four to the Floor series, which again brings a host of burgeoning house talents to the fore. A shrewdly chosen array of guests litter the EP, and if it’s a wide array of intriguing tracks you’re after, you’re sure to fall head over heels with this one. Opening up – and in some fashion – is the work of Undercatt and specifically, ‘’Golden Area’’. A really majestic release that’s imbued with tough techno beats from the offset, it takes no prisoners thanks to a tough-as-nails approach that’ll have some wondering if Cocoon’s discography has somehow overtaken the Hamburg imprint. You can be rest assured, however, that they haven’t – also this emotive jam is one you’re sure to be reaching for again and again, particularly if you like your tracks to be of a tougher persuasion. Next up is Denite & The Liquid Mirror, who serve up a delectable and potent cut in ‘’Together’’. A series of wobbly beats sits over the top, marking this one out as another unusual addition to the Diynamic team. Anton Dhouran’s ‘’Mirage’’ is full of zest, and is the sort of track that’ll metaphorically transport you back to Balearic pastures. Culminating it all is BLOT and Lifafa, whose ‘’Empire’’ brilliantly merges sultry vocals and top-class beats. Indeed, the words ‘top-class’ can be attributed to everything here. Absolutely brilliant stuff.
