The standout from the sorely overlooked ‘Open Book’ import album last year is newly remixed for the dancefloors by the ubiquitous Soul Seekers. Newly transformed into a beefier offering this should now attract some attention to the ’70s teen star’s latest work. Incorporating lyrical elements from her ’80s hit ‘Love Come Down’, ‘The Dance’ seems intentionally geared towards the American dance market, and whilst good in parts, is a long way removed from what’s hot on the UK front.
