Having already proved their credentials with releases on labels such as OFF and Hive Audio amongst others, Fat Sushi’s latest EP ‘Hana’ is testament to their undoubted talent. Having had backing from the likes of Maya Jane Coles, DJ Hell and Marco Carola from their previous EP ‘Warehouse’, there was always going to be a lot of hype in the build up to this, and they’ve delivered in a big way. Pounding bass lines and wavy synths are at the forefront of both Hana and Paia, stylised in a way only Fat Sushi knowhow. An EP where each track is as good as the other is a rare thing, but Hana fits comfortably in that bracket. Soaring melodic elements and rolling hi-hats are just part of what makes these tracks so special. To tell the truth, you’re better off just listening to the music rather than reading this. The Swiss duo have been in the industry for over 20 years between them, and it’s clear they know what they’re doing. We’re excited to see what’s next for the highly experienced producers, with constantly evolving tracks being released on increasingly reputable labels. Be in no doubt, Hana will be creating some of those special dance floor moments for a long time to come.
