For the Radio Edit of “Champion Sound”, Fatboyeee has drafted in Sweet Like Chocolate’s Sharon Woolf’ to join Lateef on vocal duties, and the result is a cute little ditty in a Lily Allen style, which will probably see Mr Slim go at least Top 5. Also there’s a bunch of remixes that will keep the clubs on drugs brigade more than happy. Switch lets rip with the electronic busy bees, darting their way around a cut up vocal and some classic house key riffs, all done with a nice boompty boomp feel. Krafty Kuts and Digital Dog go on a Balearic rave tip, making the most of Lateef’s vocal, while M Factor prefers old school house rim shots, subtle pads and a proggy bassline. All in all a bumper package with plenty of poke.
