Tiga, the king of techno pop? There can’t be that many artists who can get away with a rip-off / homage to 80’s group Sexual Harrassment, and make it sound like the epitome of 2009 pop, yet still retain enough coolness and playability to ensure it gets underground club play, too. And that’s without the mention of one ‘material girl’ who makes an uncredited guest appearance on vocals. In addition to the ludicrous panache of the original, there’s a chunky nu-electro mix from Mr Oizo, a scarily dark remix from Noob (complete with reinvented horror vocals) and a fantastically old-school Chicago jacking mix from the one and only Green Velvet. Good, clean wholesome fun for all the family – and you’re guaranteed to hear at least one of these mixes throughout the summer.
