One of my favourite pieces of music from one of my favourite DJ’s this version really just acts as a timely update of this classic instrumental. All those lush pads, emotive chords and, of course, both the whistle and flute remain firmly intact. I can’t really recommend this enough to you and if you haven’t heard this before then you’re in for a real treat. The fabulously titled ‘Gimme Gimme (Disco Shimmy) gets remixed care of Eric Kupper and comes complete with a bouncy piano powered rhythm section and a sexy vocal hook all of which prove extremely hard to resist. Choice.
