Groove Armada
Paper Romance
Ministry Of Pies

The mighty Groove Armada show their musical talent once again by morphing into a brand new sound for 2010, ‘Paper Romance’ is a beautiful
song based on a vibrant indie dance sound that will pull many new fans as much as keeping their fan base smiling.

With sweeping electronic chords and warm drum arrangements in effect we see a big nod to the sound of the Human League with it’s warm retro sounds. So onto the mixes and it seems these days that man Doorly kicks off the package showing his diverse production skills by avoiding the standard dubstep treatment by kicking in with a hedonistic blend of garage drumstep and late night low end sub and synth. Dramatic and intense rhythms work the floor to create something very special indeed while the Zombie Disco Squad going for a variation on a theme with their subness and choppy minimal groove keeps you nodding along.

Finishing of this first EP of mixes (yes more to come) we have those cheeky Urchins who have a big Erasure/Passion Pit moment with bouncy electro synths that lift the song to a heavenly pop gem. Groove Armada are proving Yet again that they are still the shining star on the dancefloor and radio with great songs and melody, plus you know summer is on its way baby with a little help from GA.
