Although best known for his progressive house productions (having released several excellent singles on Whoop, Alternative Route and Kinky Vinyl), the young Israeli, and one time Maccabi Tel-Aviv’ footballer, is only now making his US debut. In its Original mix this is a retro (as in early ’92) synth ‘n’ strings offering that echoes of reference points to Detroit’s pioneering greats. But it’s his Palmitos Remix where he really excels and is sure to win new friends. Sounding not unlike the first cousin of Shakedown’s ‘At Night’, this oozes more of Gallic charm and Parisian panache then may of the productions from the locals! Now if only there were a vocal lurking to be had.
