Playperview serves up a summer sizzler for their next package and the man behind the original is label boss, HNQO. A fine release that once again displays his tech-house midas touch, it also displays his production mastery and a diversity that’s not evident in most of his peers.
In original form the track is a loopy, rolling bit of house music with shuffling, dusty drums, nice mechanical snares and vibes a plenty. Warm and colourful chords come in to add yet more organic feel good magic, and overall it’s the sort of tune that’s hard not to dance to, while its trippy vocals only add to the overall sense of madness.
‘New Perspective’ is a more dense and complex affair laced up with acid lines and turbo charged chords that shimmer and leave an impression from the get-go. A hazy and late-night groove, it’s a track that’s notable for its many hedonistic, atmospheric planes. This will will be earning repeated plays long after the summer is out.
